Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrekMate ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.

3. User-Uploaded Content

By uploading photos, reviews, or other content to TrekMate, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to the content or have authorization to upload it.
  • You grant TrekMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and modify the content for Platform purposes.
  • You are solely responsible for any copyright violations related to content you upload.
  • You understand that other users may submit takedown requests if they believe your content violates their rights.

4. Content Removal

TrekMate reserves the right to remove any user-uploaded content at any time, with or without notice, including but not limited to content that violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or is reported through our takedown request process.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on intellectual property rights. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Takedown Requests

If you believe content on TrekMate violates your rights, you may submit a takedown request through the Platform. All requests are reviewed by our team. We notify the uploader of valid complaints and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content.

7. Limitation of Liability

TrekMate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrekMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pakistan.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
