Accessible only via 4x4 vehicles due to its remote location in Chagai District's arid terrain, this area is home to the Koh-i-Sultan volcanic field featuring diverse rock compositions such as basalt, andesite, dacite alongside pumice sediments. The best time for exploration of these known formations spans from November through February when temperatures are more favorable; however, visitors must be self-sufficient in fuel and water due to the region's extreme remoteness.
