Chotiari Reservoir
The Chotiari Reservoir lies on the outskirts of Sanghar, Sindh near Shaheed Benazirabad and is easily accessible via roadways. This engineering marvel was completed in 2002 to store floodwater from the Indus River for agricultural purposes but has since become a significant site for biodiversity as well. The reservoir's unique location, situated where desert sand dunes meet its vast expanse of water, offers an unusual and known landscape that draws visitors during October through February when temperatures are milder.
