The Mankial Valley in Swat's highlands plays host to the scenic Badai Jaba meadows at an elevation of 3200m, reached via a challenging and scenic trek spanning approximately 14km from the village of Mankial over a gain of around 1100 meters. This demanding hike lasts for about eight hours through rugged terrain that rewards with large vistas surrounding towering peaks. The trail is point-to-point in nature, and due to its difficulty level, it's best suited for experienced trekkers during the summer months from June until September when families are advised against attempting this journey as guides become essential on such an adventure through dramatic landscapes that Swat has come known for.
