Passu is a scenic village situated in the Gojal valley of Upper Hunza within Gilgit Baltistan's highlands. Along Karakoram Highway and situated at an elevation of 6,106 meters (20,033 feet), it serves as a popular tourist destination due to its striking landscapes and mountain vistas. The village is known for the towering Passu Sar peak standing tall with a height of approximately 7478-meters or about 24534 ft above sea level. Adjacent lies the expansive glacier, adding an ethereal touch to its already dramatic surroundings. Families can enjoy exploring this scenic location during favorable weather conditions from April through October when temperatures are more moderate and travel is easier on these high-altitude roadsides.
