The water is known for being exceptionally clear and relatively calm, making it one of the better spots for swimming. However, visitors should always watch for sea urchins near any rocky patches along the shoreline.
Boats are best hired in the early morning when the sea is at its calmest for the most comfortable experience. Local boatmen can take you further out for better views of the rugged cliffs and potentially for fishing.
Tide timings generally follow the standard Gwadar schedule, with the beach appearing much wider during low tide. Exploring the far ends of the beach is safest when the tide is going out to avoid getting trapped by rising water.
Because the white and golden sands reflect a high amount of UV radiation, double-layering sunscreen is recommended. Bringing a pop-up canopy or beach umbrella is highly advised as there are few permanent structures for shade.
